My Top 10 Anime of All Time

Hello everyone, my name is Emilia, aka Luka Megurine.

Today, I'll be talking about my top 10 favorite anime of all time.
Remember, these anime may not be your personal favorites, but they are mine.

My favorites change all the time though, so don't get annoyed if I ever suggest new anime to watch.

Top 10 Anime of All Time:

#10 - Kimi ni Todoke - Kimi ni Todoke is honestly one of the cutest, but most frustrating and what the fuck animes of all time. It follows the story of the main character Sawako who everyone believes resembles the girl from 'the Ring' all she wants to do is fit in and be normal. She eventually falls in love with a boy named Kazahaya and it follows them throughout the anime as she, awkwardly, tries to admit her feelings for the boy who she fell in love with.

#9 - Fruits Basket : Fruits Basket follows the main character Tohru, a highschool girl who recently lost her mother in a car accident. She stays with her grandfather until he needs to fix the house to fit more people, in the time that this happens she sleeps in a tent. While on a walk she meets the Sohmas who live nearby. Something is strange about the Sohma's though... after all when a member of the opposite sex hugs them, they turn into. . . animals?!

#8 - Ouran Highschool Host Club:  Without a doubt this is one of my favorite anime. . .
This reverse harem anime follows Haruhi Fujioka and her clumsy adventures through Ouran Academy. On her first day, she goes to find someplace quiet and ends up in the host club. . . except she breaks a very expensive vase. . . and she doesn't have the money to pay for it. So instead, they let her join the host club. Except, they don't know Haruhi is a SHE and not a HE.

#7 - Heaven's Lost Property: Tomoki Sakurai has always dreamed of a strange angel. . . one day a girl falls from the sky and suddenly. . . starts calling him Master?! Join Tomoki on his strange adventures in finding the New World with his weird group of childhood friends and his anything but normal angeloid companions.

#6 - My Bride is a Mermaid : Nagasumi was saved from drowning by a mermaid named Sun Seto. Mermaid law says that now that he's seen the mermaid. .  he's gotta marry her! It's a pretty funny anime, it's very cute indeed.

# 5 - K : "Kings" are individuals who have been bestowed with incredible supernatural powers and granted the ability to recruit others into their clans. Protecting the lives and honor of their clansmen is an integral part of the Kings' duties. After a video depicting the heinous murder of a Red Clansman spreads virally, the unassuming student Yashiro Isana is accused of homicide. Now, a manhunt is underway for his head, bringing him into contact with the infamous "Black Dog" Kurou Yatogami—a skilled swordsman and martial artist determined to follow the wishes of his late master, the Seventh King.
Meanwhile, the current Red King, Mikoto Suou, faces his own imminent demise as the search for Yashiro narrows. But during Yashiro's struggle to prove his innocence, a greater conspiracy is unraveling behind the scenes; clouds begin to appear in his memory, and close friends start to question his very existence. What began as a simple murder is now leading towards a full blown war between Kings with the very fate of the world at stake. Yeah, I copied this from Myanimelist.net 'cause it's hard to describe otherwise :D

# 4 - Your Lie in April : Your Lie in April follows a teenage boy who's played piano since he was just a child, but since his mother died. . .he could no longer hear the notes. Once a childhood prodigy, now a normal teenager. . .he comes across a happy-go-lucky violinist Kaori who encourages him to play again. Warning:  This anime. . . WILL make you cry.

# 3 - Angel Beats : Otonashi awakens only to learn he is dead. A rifle-toting girl named Yuri explains that they are in the afterlife, and Otonashi realizes the only thing he can remember about himself is his name. Yuri tells him that she leads the Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront) and wages war against a girl named Tenshi. Unable to believe Yuri's claims that Tenshi is evil, Otonashi attempts to speak with her, but the encounter doesn't go as he intended.

Otonashi decides to join the SSS and battle Tenshi, but he finds himself oddly drawn to her. While trying to regain his memories and understand Tenshi, he gradually unravels the mysteries of the afterlife. Warning: 100% YOU WILL CRY.  And remember. #AngelisBae

# 2 - Black Butler : Ciel Phantomhive makes a contract with a demon to get revenge on the people who murdered his parents. The story follows the boy, Ciel, his butler, and his servants on their daily lives and through his pathway to avenge his dead parents. It's a really really good anime. #SebastianxGrell #JMichealTatum.

#1 Yuri!!! on Ice - Yuri on Ice follows the main character Yuuri Katsuki, a competitive ice skater from Japan and his journey through the grand prix finals, kinda. Well let's just have myanimelist.net tell us what it really is!

Reeling from his crushing defeat at the Grand Prix Finale, Yuuri Katsuki, once Japan's most promising figure skater, returns to his family home to assess his options for the future. At age 23, Yuuri's window for success in skating is closing rapidly, and his love of pork cutlets and aptitude for gaining weight are not helping either.

However, Yuuri finds himself in the spotlight when a video of him performing a routine previously executed by five-time world champion, Victor Nikiforov, suddenly goes viral. In fact, Victor himself abruptly appears at Yuuri's house and offers to be his mentor. As one of his biggest fans, Yuuri eagerly accepts, kicking off his journey to make it back onto the world stage. But the competition is fierce, as the rising star from Russia, Yuri Plisetsky, is relentlessly determined to defeat Yuuri and win back Victor's tutelage. (tutelage: instruction; tuition.)

Honorable Mentions:

Sekirei - It's good man, it's really really good.

Danganronpa : The Animation - #JunkoisBest. #Junkodere

Corey in the House - Haha, sorry that's an old meme. Forgive me :D

Hatsukoi Monster (First Love Monster ) - A highschool girl falls for an elementary schooler.
'tis very cute and very funny. #Ishipit #LoveisLove

Orange - This anime follows Naho on her adventure to make things right. She gets a letter from her future self that instructs her to watch over her new friend. Naho falls in love with him and tries her best to make sure he doesn't meet the same fate he did in that future that the future Naho so desperately wanted to avoid. This anime is adorable . . . I wouldn't say it's sad. . . It's just really cute. . . like really cute.

Why I love Junko Enoshima (Spoilers!)

Hello everyone! It's Emily, aka Emilia and I'm here to tell you some of the reasons why I adore Junko Enoshima

(Keep in mind, none of these pictures I am posting belong to me. I am no artist and will never claim to be one, my bumblebees are pretty dope though.)

Junko Enoshima is simply one of the most bipolar characters I've ever seen in a video game/anime. I played Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and was not disappointed at all with the ending, though it was rather bizarre. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I dislike everyone else in the Danganronpa series, I'm just in love with Junko.

From when you first meet "Junko" (I put this in quotation marks because we all know Junko doesn't appear until the very end.) She has a charming and happy-go-lucky personality with just a hint of sarcasm. Right off the bat she seems reasonably likeable, which is why I never understood people's disdain for her. I mean, she got killed off in the beginning right? Nope, not at all.

The mind fuckage that was Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was insane, I first found out about Danganronpa from a Creepypasta RP on Roblox (Don't ask, okay?). I was given a few items to help me figure out how to do said role play and found out that I enjoyed the concept of Danganronpa a lot.
I actually found out it was also a game and invested my money into both games when I got the chance to, and I wasn't disappointed.

The anime wasn't too bad but the game play is more fun, same with Amnesia, the anime and game about a girl who loses her memory and goes through different worlds to find which one she belongs in. The game was better, but I'm not saying the anime was bad.

After playing through countless hours of finding out who liked what gifts or who is best girl, I finally found myself near the ending, Kyoko vs. Mastermind. Originally I fucked up and Kyoko got executed and I had a love-child with Hina, which I'm not complaining in the slightest, but I found was. . . less than satisfactory, SO I went through the trial yet again and got MYSELF executed.

Yada yada yada and bam the mastermind reveals herself and it's like "WHAT THE FUCK YOU MEAN JUNKO IS ALIVE?!"

Yup. Junko never died, her twin sister did. Which is why "Junko" said when she was impaled was "This wasn't supposed to happen." Which was later explained in the game, and MAYBE the anime I dunno, like I said, game was better.

Initially when you find out in the game it's like "Huh?" It's a rather what the fuck moment because you're thinking what kind of writer pulled this out of their ass. . . a genius, of course.

What really made me love Junko was the fact that she had such a blatant disregard for everyone's feelings and was so bored she decided to start a killing game. Not because I support that, but because her character isn't like anything I've really seen before.
First, she reveals that she was happy that her sister died, jealous even, which was super confusing and made me re-read the same text like 3 times.
Monokuma's sudden personality changes began to make sense throughout the class trial with Junko because she is absolutely bipolar but not really just bipolar she's like tripolar. She's got so many different personalities I can't tell who's who anymore.
Hime-dere Junko was by far my favorite however because she was just so. . . zany, with my second favorite being Badass Junko because like I said, blatant disregard for everyone's feelings and sarcasm to the max.

I really don't understand why anyone could really DISLIKE Junko because by far she was one of my favorite villains in a video game of all time.
If you agree with me, let me know down in the comments, and don't forget to leave some feedback too!
